Number 1: Here I give you my newest pair of shorts. I give credit to Carrie my sister for this one. While on vacation in Breckenridge last month she had a pair of cut-off bermuda shorts on that were super cute. She had apparently just cut a pair of jeans off that she didn't wear anymore and rolled them up. EASSSYY RIGHT?! Yeah I know...sadly I couldn't even think of that on my own. So I made my own from a pair of jeans that I haven't worn in who knows how long!
Photobooth on the Mac doesn't do them justice. They're cute....I promise |
Number 2: Fabric Flower Necklace. My adorable friend Lyndsey Parker sent me this idea. I could not wait to get started so I headed straight over to JoAnn Fabrics with coupons in hand and bought the supplies. I went to flower making school at my kitchen table for only a couple hours and BAM! here you have it. I succeeded! Cute right??!! If you want the tutorial let me know and I'll post it. Thank you Lynds for such a fabulous craft, I love the way it turned out!
Number 3: "You Are My Happy" Poster. So I was stalking people on "pintrest" the other day and found this cute quote that I fell in love with. I decided I needed it for my own place. However, it wasn't quite the right colors. So I put my minimal InDesign skills to work (meaning my ZERO skills. It's a total guess and check process for me, which is why it takes me hours to create things! but worth the time I'd say) and I came up with this...

Now the question is do you like the first or second one of my creations better? I can't decide. Help me out peeps. Please?
Well there will definitely be more crafts to come don't you fret! Thanks again for all the fun ideas you guys gave me...keep them coming!
Love, The Smiths
