What did the tomato say to his son? KETCHUP!

Suprise surprise I am behind on the blog (isn't every blogger?) and therefore I'm going to do a little catching up today. So Sit Back, Relax, and Enjoy!

Three weekends ago Eric and I ventured up to Morrison, CO to go Go-Kart racing with these sweet Groupons we found. However, when we got there we quickly realized that was not going to happen. Turns out some National Championship races were being held on the Banidmere Speedway, which is the same raceway you go-kart on. LAME. So instead we went to Willy's Wings and scarfed down a good 30 hot wings and a diet coke. YUM! They were oh so delicious and extra messy. Just the way we like it!

Excuse my shiny face and Eric's struggling facial expression

Two weekends ago we decided to go camping. Where you may ask? Oh in our back yard. Ya we're cool like that. We know.

We pitched our little 2 man tent. Made a quaint little fire and roasted some s'mores. Tried watching a movie in our tent (failure). Sleepy time. Golf course sprinklers turn on. They are powerful little buggers and are SO LOUD when they hit our tent. Scared the living daylights out of me! Eric runs outside, jumps the fence, and puts a rock up against them so they will stop hitting out tent. He thinks he succeeds. He fails. He tries again. He comes back and I hear,
"Nicole."
"What?"
"It beat me. I am soaking wet!"
"bahahahahaha"
I die laughing as he is soaking wet outside the tent. Turns out the sprinkler was so powerful it pushed off the rock he had placed in front of it and sprayed him as a little payback. We go inside and change. We come back out. We think the sprinklers are off. They're not. We give up, go inside, and sleep in our own bed.

Epic.

Eric was loving the new headlamps we got for our wedding. They are pretty awesome.

This past weekend we went to the Rockies baseball game. We had legit tickets on the 28th row right behind home plate. Awesome. Besides that, we missed all the action with the pitcher getting nailed in the head and being rushed off to the hospital. Oh well. Otherwise, it was fun. Oh, and I wanted a hot dog. They were $6.50. Re-donk-u-lous!

Please note: Big yawner in pic #1 and stretchy neck man in pic #3. Talent right there.

You are now caught up on our lives. Congratulations.

Love, The Smiths
