Chelsea

Weekends are great because that means Eric is free and we get to explore together. On Saturday we ventured on over to Chelsea. It was by far my favorite place in the city thus far.
First stop was the Chelsea Market. My thoughts?

The Chelsea market shops were all adorable.
The food was fantastic.
The free samples were divine.
And the cleanliness of it was unseen of in the city. {Eric and I sat on the ground to eat our lunch it was so clean}

Our first stop was at Amy's Breads {recommended to me by Jay-nay-nay} and it didn't disappoint. We ordered ourselves a yummy sandwich, a chocolate sourdough twist, and a coconut dream bar. All were absolutely amazing!

Then we made a stop at the "nut-box" where we picked ourselves up some delicious honey roasted peanuts and peach rings.

We ventured into a few other stores and did some window shopping and then made an exit with some hazelnut and biscotti gelato in hand.

With our treats in hand, we headed over to Highline Park...a park that use to be a railroad track back in the day. It extends high above the city so the views can't be beat!

Beautiful right?
It was a gorgeous day. Sun out and flowers in bloom. Maybe a bit on the hot side seeing as I was ready to strip once we entered the hotel room again, but better than rain or snow!

Oh Chelsea, we aren't done with you yet. Expect us again sometime soon!

On another note. Guess what came in the mail today?!

Yep this little gem. This means I'll be making a trip to the park today for some quality reading!

Until next time!

Love, The Smiths
