Foodies

While in NYC these past three weeks we've at LOTS of yummy places. This week was no exception.
On Friday and Tuesday we made our way to a little joint called "Shake Shack" in Manhattan. Lots of people have told me that going here was a must...so we made it a must. We went not only once, but twice in 5 days! We visited the one in Madison Square Park {super cute and great atmosphere. 45 minute wait though with the long line that forms there.} We also went to the one by Time Square. {Indoors. Not nearly as busy and has a bathroom which is great. But not the same fun atmosphere.} We'd pick the park as our fav! Waiting in line builds up an appetite.

Talk about a great burger! It's the kind that just melts in your mouth every time you bite into it. So good.
The fries were also delicious. We tried both the regular and the cheesy...both were good, but I prefer the regular. I love me a basic french fry with lots of salt and a lil' bit of crunch! Just my type of food.
Finally, Black and White Shake...worth every calorie and more!

I think we'll be back for a third visit before we leave!

The other night we visited a little diner called "Happy Days". {Reminds me of that old TV show called Happy Days with Fonzy in it. So great!} Anywho...we went here because after eating only cereal and bagels for breakfast for 3 weeks straight, you really start to miss things like eggs, bacon, french toast, pancakes, and all those other amazing breakfast foods! mmmm. It did not disappoint by any means!  The bacon was oh so divinnneeee!

Finally, while Robyn and I were out and about yesterday, we stopped at a little bakery/cafe called EuroPan. After much consideration and deliberation {because EVERYTHING looked so delicious} I went with their popular strawberry-banana crepes. I swallowed those babies up in no time!

Thank goodness we live on the same floor as the fitness room! All these delicious foodies could really cause us to come back to Denver looking large and in charge!

Thank you NYC for feeding us well. I know there is only more yumminess to come!

Love, The Smiths

P.S. Guess what starts tonight??
