Ok ok ok I know I am falling a little behind...BUT I will catch up sooner or later, don't you fret! Soooo, this past week I took a little trip down to the lovely Provo, UT to see two of my bestest friends Eliesa and Bradley get hitched. Let me just vent a bit about how great these two are. Being engaged is hard and kinda sucks...being engaged along side your roommate and having a constant hang out couple is awesome! Eric and I adore these two and together the four of us have had some pretty wild times. We were meant to be friends I tell ya :)
So I flew over to Provo (and literally I mean PROVO!) on Monday night. Having direct flights from Denver to Provo is awesome! The place is tiny so you basically land, walk off the plane into this little hotel lobby looking place, walk 30 steps and BAM you are now in the parking lot and on your way home. Easy Peezy, Lemon Sweezy!
Monday Night: Chit chat with my girls (obviously meaning Jeckers, Carrie, and Dana) about life and catch up. Go through the ward directory and tell them who they should date based off the 2 cm black and white mug shot they have been luckily allotted. Go to bed at 2 AM.
Tuesday: Sleep in. Call my invitations peeps to get my free thank you cards so I can continue writing those dreadful oh so lovely never ending notes. Eat Micky D's for lunch because I have no food and that's a healthy alternative choice. Text the roomies to see when they will be home. Facebook and blog stalk (does this sound familiar to anyone else...yeah that's what I thought) Finally everyone comes home and we head to Eliesa and Brad's reception! We get lost. We are one hour late. We finally make it and it turns out wonderful!
Practicing the newest model pose--head out then chin down. Try it. I dare you. It works. You look skinnier. |

Wednesday: Changed my name and marital status on BYU campus, visited everyone at the AHTG office and ate lunch with them (thank you Carrie and Jared! So delicious), and then I got to spend lots of time with this girl...
haha she's gonna love me for that picture but isn't she just a gem?! well she is. I luff luff LUFF HER!!!! She if one of my very favorite people and one of my very best friends. If you don't know her you should get to know her...cool cat right there people. Anywho, we spent the day at the pool lounging around and chatting it up about married life and all that good stuff. Cause married people are super cool and have lots going on in their lives. duh. It was awesome.
I finished my trip off with another girls night including the roomies and Eliesa. It was perfect. I love being married, but there is just something about having your girl time. Ya know? Thank you Carrie, Jeckers, and Dana for housing me and allowing me to crash your apartment! You girls are the best.
Oh and did I almost miss my flight back to Denver? How nice of you to ask. In fact, I almost did. I'll tell you more about that next time ;)
